This Genuine Ford front drive axle shaft, cataloged as Motorcraft assembly TX-812, is the right-hand passenger-side half shaft for the front-wheel-drive Ford Focus. It delivers engine torque from the transaxle to the front wheel through an outboard constant-velocity joint, an inboard tripod joint, and a splined shaft, with sealed boots that keep grease in and contaminants out while flexing through steering and suspension motion. It fits 2012 through 2018 Focus models equipped with the 2.0L engine and automatic transaxle, in the right front position. A buyer needing this part is typically hearing a clicking noise on turns, feeling a vibration that increases with speed, or has found grease slung inside the wheel from a split boot, all hallmarks of a worn CV joint.
