• Description:

  This Genuine Ford ML3Z-4026-E is the 9.75-inch rear differential carrier assembly with Limited Slip for 12-25 F-150 trucks built from 11/07/2011 plus Expedition applications equipped with the Heavy Payload package or the SVT Raptor rear axle. The carrier houses the ring gear, side bearings, spider gears, and the limited-slip clutch pack that biases torque from the slipping wheel to the gripping wheel under acceleration. It supersedes CL3Z-4026-B, CL3Z-4026-F, and ML3Z-4026-D on updated service builds. The assembly ships preloaded with the OEM clutch pack and ready to receive the appropriate ring gear and pinion set. Owners replace this carrier when the limited slip stops biasing and one wheel spins freely while the other stays planted, when growling or chatter develops during slow tight turns indicating clutch pack wear, when ring gear or carrier bearing failure forces a complete center-section rebuild, or when an axle upgrade for higher payload or towing requires the HD carrier. Installation requires the rear differential to be opened, the original carrier and bearings removed, the new carrier assembled with appropriately preloaded side bearings, and the ring-pinion mesh pattern set to spec.
