  This is the genuine Ford lamp socket and wire assembly for the front headlamp circuit, cataloged by Ford as the Socket and Wire Assembly - Lamp. It consists of the molded bulb socket and the short jumper pigtail that plugs the vehicle wiring into the halogen headlamp, carrying switched power and ground to the bulb so low beam, high beam, and park functions operate correctly. It fits 2013-2015 Ford Explorer and Police Interceptor Utility models equipped with halogen headlamps.
