This genuine Ford Motorcraft fuel pump and sender assembly is the complete in-tank fuel delivery module for 2013-2016 Ford Escape models. It integrates the electric fuel pump, the fuel level sending unit, and the internal fuel pressure regulator into one assembly that pulls fuel from the tank and feeds the engine at the correct operating pressure. The gas-engine pressure regulator is a non-serviceable internal part, so the full module is replaced when the pump wears out. Drivers of a failing unit typically experience long crank times, intermittent no-start, stalling or sputtering under acceleration, loss of power on grades, a persistent whine from the fuel tank area, and a fuel gauge that reads inaccurately as the sending unit fails. Replacing the module with this Motorcraft assembly restores reliable starting, steady fuel pressure, and correct fuel level indication.
