  This is the genuine Ford valve cover (cylinder head cover), right-hand passenger side, for the 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 (catalog base 6582), fitting 2013-2016 Ford F-150 and 2015-2017 Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, and Ford Transit applications with this engine. The valve cover seals the top of the cylinder head, containing engine oil around the camshafts and valvetrain, housing the integrated PCV and oil-separation passages, and providing mounting points for ignition coils and related hardware. On the 3.5L EcoBoost these covers are a common source of oil leaks and PCV-related issues as the seals and the plastic body age under heat and pressure. Symptoms of a failing valve cover include oil seeping down the side of the engine, a burning-oil smell, oil pooling in the spark plug wells, rough running or misfire from oil-fouled coils, and excessive crankcase pressure. This genuine Ford cover incorporates its sealing gasket and restores a proper oil-tight seal and correct PCV function. The valve cover is bank-specific because the cylinder head sealing geometry and PCV routing differ between the passenger and driver banks, so this right-hand cover is not interchangeable with the left-hand unit; confirm you need the passenger-side cover before ordering.
