This genuine Ford front suspension strut mount is the upper mounting assembly that secures the top of the front strut to the body while allowing the strut to pivot with steering input on the 2013-2018 Ford Focus, including turbo and Focus Electric models without the RS package. It carries suspension load, isolates road noise and vibration from the cabin, and provides the upper pivot bearing surface for smooth steering. A worn strut mount produces clunking or popping over bumps, a groaning or binding noise when turning, uneven tire wear, or a steering wheel that does not return smoothly to center. Because it mounts either the left or right front strut, it fits both sides. Replacing worn mounts is recommended whenever the front struts are serviced. Built to Ford OEM specifications, this strut mount installs as a direct replacement and restores quiet, properly aligned front suspension operation.
