This genuine Ford rear lower lateral control arm locates the rear wheel and controls its side-to-side and camber position on the 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST with the 2.0L turbocharged engine, without all-wheel drive, built to 12/15/2014. The stamped arm includes its pressed-in bushings and forms part of the multilink rear suspension geometry that keeps the tire planted and the rear axle tracking true. Worn or damaged bushings and a bent arm cause clunking over bumps, rear-end wander or looseness, uneven or feathered tire wear, and an alignment that will not hold specification. Impact damage from a pothole or curb strike is a frequent reason for replacement. The mounting bolts are single-use torque-to-yield fasteners and must be replaced with new bolts during installation; never reuse the original bolts. Built to Ford OEM specifications with the bushings installed, this control arm restores correct rear suspension geometry and a stable, quiet ride.
