  This is the genuine Ford front axle shaft, cataloged as the CV axle assembly for the right or passenger side, supplied complete and fully assembled with both constant velocity joints, the shaft, the boots and the retaining hardware. It transmits torque from the transaxle output through the plunging inboard joint and the fixed outboard joint into the wheel hub while accommodating suspension travel and steering angle, which is the job a solid shaft cannot do. Verified fitment is the 2013 through 2019 Ford Escape built with the 1.5L or the 1.6L engine in the front wheel drive configuration, and this number supersedes CV6Z-3B436-AJ, CV6Z-3B436-AP, CV6Z-3B436-AU, CV6Z-3B436-B, TX-608, TX-823 and TX-864.
