  This genuine Ford engine compartment splash shield, also called a floor pan splash shield or belly pan, mounts underneath the front of the vehicle to close off the underside of the engine and floor pan area. It blocks water, road spray, slush, mud, and road debris from being thrown up into the engine bay and undercarriage, helps manage airflow beneath the vehicle for aerodynamics and cooling, and protects components and wiring from stone damage.
