This genuine Motorcraft HVAC blower motor is the front cabin fan-and-motor assembly that pulls interior or fresh air through the heater core and evaporator and pushes conditioned air out the dash, floor, and defrost vents. It fits 2013-2019 Ford Explorer and Ford Flex models using the front climate system, and carries the impeller wheel as a complete unit ready to drop into the blower housing. When a blower motor wears out, the brushes and bushings degrade and you notice airflow that only works on high speed, intermittent operation that comes and goes over bumps, a squealing or grinding noise from behind the glove box, a burning smell, or a heater and A/C that blow nothing at all. Because this is an OEM Motorcraft part, the motor draws the correct current, spins at the factory speed for each fan setting, and bolts into the original mounting location without modification. Confirm the connector keying matches your harness before installing, seat the assembly fully so the housing seals against air leaks, and check the blower resistor or control module if the new motor still runs at only one speed.
