• Description:

  This genuine Ford front engine mount, also called a motor mount or front engine support bracket, secures the engine to the subframe while damping vibration and controlling powertrain movement under acceleration, braking, and load. It fits 3.5L naturally aspirated and 3.7L V6 applications on the 2013-2019 Ford Taurus and Flex, the 2019 Police Interceptor Sedan, the 2013-2019 Lincoln MKT, and the 2013-2016 Lincoln MKS. The mount combines a rigid bracket with a bonded elastomer or hydraulic isolator; when the rubber cracks, separates, or the fluid leaks out, the engine shifts excessively, producing clunks over bumps, harsh vibration at idle, driveline shudder on acceleration, and misalignment stress on the adjoining mounts and accessory lines. Replacing a failed mount with the factory-matched part restores proper engine positioning and the original isolation of noise and vibration from the body. Because it is engineered to the specific bracket geometry and load path of these 3.5L and 3.7L Ford and Lincoln sedans and crossovers, it bolts in without modification and re-establishes correct powertrain support.
