• Description:

  This is a genuine Ford power brake booster check valve, the one-way vacuum valve and elbow that connects the vacuum source to the brake booster on 2013-2020 Ford Explorer, F-150, Flex, Taurus, and Police Interceptor models, as well as related Lincoln MKS and MKT vehicles. The check valve allows the booster to draw and hold vacuum while preventing backflow, so the booster retains reserve vacuum for power-assisted braking even when engine vacuum drops. A failed or leaking check valve or cracked elbow can cause a hard, high brake pedal, reduced power assist, a hissing leak, or a pedal that does not return properly.
