• Description:

  This genuine Ford engine air intake hose, also cataloged as the inner inlet duct, carries filtered air from the air cleaner box to the throttle body on 2013 through 2020 Ford Fusion models built with the 2.0-liter DOHC engine. Molded from temperature- and oil-resistant material, the duct maintains a sealed, smooth path for metered intake air so the mass air flow reading stays accurate and the engine receives the correct air charge. The hose flexes with engine movement and is a common wear item: the pleats and connection cuffs harden, split, or tear over time, and a cracked intake duct draws unmetered air past the sensor.
