• Description:

  This genuine Ford brake caliper bleeder screw is the small threaded valve that installs into the disc brake caliper and lets trapped air and old fluid be purged from the hydraulic system during a brake bleed. When opened with a wrench it releases fluid and air through its central passage, then seals tight against its tapered seat when closed to hold hydraulic pressure. It serves as a shared service item across CD4 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ, MKX, and related Edge applications from roughly 2013 through 2024, fitting front and rear calipers on left and right sides. Owners and technicians reach for this part when the original screw is rounded off, seized, snapped, cross-threaded, or leaking, or simply corroded shut so the caliper cannot be bled.
