• Description:

  This genuine Ford sender and pump assembly is the complete in-tank electric fuel pump module with integrated fuel level sending unit for 2013 through 2020 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ models equipped with the 1.5-liter, 1.6-liter, or 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbocharged engines. Mounted inside the fuel tank, the module draws fuel through its strainer, pressurizes it, and delivers a steady, filtered supply to the engine while the float-arm sender reports tank level to the instrument cluster. As a high-mileage wear item the pump motor weakens and the sender can become erratic, and a failing module shows up as long cranking or a no-start, stalling under load or in hot weather, hesitation and power loss at highway speed, a fuel gauge that reads inaccurately or bounces, or a whining noise from the tank. As the genuine Ford component this assembly matches the original flange, connector, float calibration, and pressure output for the EcoBoost fuel system, so it seats and seals correctly to the tank and reports level accurately without the fit and calibration issues common to universal pumps. This part is the current Ford revision and supersedes the earlier DG9Z-9H307-A and DG9Z-9H307-N assemblies. Relieve fuel system pressure and observe fuel-handling safety before opening the tank, install a fresh tank seal ring, and confirm the lock ring is fully seated so the module does not leak. Prime the system and check for leaks and correct fuel pressure before returning the vehicle to service.
