• Description:

  This genuine Ford front brake caliper bracket, also called a caliper support or anchor, is the rigid cast mounting that bolts to the steering knuckle and locates the disc brake caliper over the rotor. It carries the caliper and brake pads, absorbs braking torque, and provides the machined abutments and guide-pin bores that let the pads slide and the caliper float correctly during braking. It fits Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ models on the CD4 platform built from 2013 through 2020. A buyer typically needs this bracket when the original is corroded at the pad abutments causing sticking or uneven pad wear, when guide-pin bores are worn or seized, or when impact or severe rust has compromised the mount. Symptoms include brake noise, dragging, pulling to one side, or pads that will not move freely in the bracket.
