  This genuine Ford Motorcraft cabin air filter scrubs the outside air entering the heating ventilation and air conditioning system before it reaches the passenger compartment trapping dust pollen soot and other airborne particles so the air inside stays clean and fresh. It fits 2013-2019 Ford Fusion 2015-2024 Ford Edge and Lincoln MKZ along with related Nautilus and Continental applications and installs in the HVAC housing accessed behind the glove box. A dirty or clogged filter commonly produces weak airflow from the dash vents a musty or stale smell when the blower runs foggy windows that clear slowly and added load on the blower motor. Keeping this element fresh also helps keep the evaporator core clean which protects air conditioning and defog performance.
