This genuine Ford bumper cover retainer is a push-pin trim clip that secures lower bumper covers and trim panels on 13-25 Edge and Escape models and on Lincoln MKC, MKX, and Nautilus crossovers. The retainer locks the cover edge to the body structure so the fascia stays flush, aligned, and free of wind flutter at highway speed. Owners reach for this clip when a bumper cover sags, the edge pulls away, or a corner rattles because the original retainer broke during a wash, a curb contact, or a previous bumper removal. These pins are commonly damaged on removal and are intended to be replaced rather than reused. Built to Ford fit specifications in left and right positions, it snaps into the body hole and grips the cover tab with the correct retention force. Replacing the broken retainer restores a tight panel gap and quiet ride. Inspect the mating hole for damage, and seat the new clip fully so the cover sits flat.
