• Description:

  Genuine Ford OEM valve cover for the driver side of the 2014 through 2017 F-150 equipped with the 5.0-liter DOHC V8, applicable from production date 02/29/12 forward. The cover seals the top of the cylinder head on the LH bank and integrates the PCV port, oil fill port, and the cam phaser oil galleries. Driver-side and passenger-side valve covers are not interchangeable on the 5.0L; the LH cover includes specific provisions for the PCV system routing that differ from the RH cover. Confirm side before ordering by inspecting the existing covers, since the F-150 5.0L engine bay can be confusing for first-time service. non-OEM valve covers in this fitment commonly use lower-grade composite that warps over a few heat cycles and develops chronic oil leaks at the gasket sealing surface. The OEM cover uses Ford's specified resin that retains flatness across full thermal cycling. Sold individually for the driver side. The cover gasket, the PCV valve assembly, and the cam phaser oil control valves ship separately. Replace the gasket and the PCV components at the same service if the engine has high mileage.
