• Description:

  This is a genuine Motorcraft engine air filter, part number FA-1914, for the 2014 through 2019 Ford Fiesta. The pleated panel media filters dust, dirt, and airborne particles out of the incoming air charge before it passes the mass air flow sensor and enters the throttle body and cylinders, protecting the engine from abrasive wear while flowing enough clean air for smooth running and proper fuel metering. It installs directly into the factory air cleaner housing on the Fiesta with no modification. As the element loads with contaminants over its service life, airflow becomes restricted and drivers often notice reduced acceleration, poorer fuel economy, rough or uneven idle, and sometimes a check engine light for mass air flow or lean fuel trim codes, with heavy soot in severe cases. Replacing the filter at the recommended interval, and more frequently when driving on dusty or unpaved roads, keeps the intake breathing freely and protects the sensitive sensors downstream. This Motorcraft filter is built to Ford fit and filtration specifications, seats in the original airbox, and needs no cutting or adapters. When installing, clean any debris from the airbox, seat the filter with its sealing edge in place, and latch the cover fully closed so unfiltered air cannot bypass the element.
