• Description:

  This Genuine Ford Motorcraft lower control arm and ball joint assembly (MCF-2517) is the front right, passenger-side lower suspension arm for 2014 through 2023 Ford Transit Connect vans, covering short and standard wheelbase configurations with build-date variants, so verify your VIN for the correct application. The assembly includes the pressed-in lower ball joint and locates the front wheel while absorbing braking and road loads through its bushings, providing the lower pivot for the steering knuckle. A worn arm or ball joint commonly produces clunking or knocking over bumps, loose or wandering steering, uneven front tire wear, and vibration through the wheel. Because it is supplied as a complete arm with integrated ball joint, this Motorcraft assembly restores correct front suspension geometry in a single service and saves pressing a separate joint.
