This Genuine Ford front drive axle shaft, cataloged as Motorcraft assembly TX-681, is the left-hand driver-side half shaft that delivers torque from the front differential to the front wheel on four-wheel-drive F-150 pickups. The assembly integrates an outboard constant-velocity joint, an inboard plunging joint, the shaft itself, and sealed CV boots that retain grease and keep contaminants out through the full range of steering angle and suspension movement. It fits 2015 and 2016 F-150 trucks in the left front position and is the mirror-image companion to the right-side unit.
