  This genuine Ford engine camshaft is the left-hand driver bank intake camshaft for the 2015-2017 Mustang GT built with the 5.0L Coyote Gen 2 dual overhead cam V8. It times the opening and closing of the intake valves on the driver cylinder head and operates together with the twin independent variable cam timing Ti-VCT phasers that continuously advance and retard valve events for torque, power delivery, and emissions across the rev range. Every cylinder head on this engine runs a dedicated intake and exhaust camshaft, and the four shafts are lobe-ground and journal-sized for their specific bank and function, so this left intake shaft is not interchangeable with the right intake or with either exhaust camshaft.
