The Motorcraft YF-37799 A/C refrigerant liquid hose is the genuine Ford high-side liquid line that carries condensed, high-pressure refrigerant from the condenser toward the evaporator on 2015 through 2018 Ford Edge models equipped with the 2.7L EcoBoost V6, part of the condenser and lines group. It combines formed metal tube runs with a flexible barrier hose and captive fittings, routed and clocked to the factory connection points so each joint seals under system pressure. A liquid line that is corroded, rubbed through at a routing clip, or leaking at a crimped fitting causes poor or no cooling, a system that slowly loses charge, hissing at the fittings, or oily refrigerant residue along the line. Because servicing this line opens the sealed circuit, renew the connection O-rings, lubricate them with the correct refrigerant oil, evacuate the system, and recharge to the Ford specification after installation. Fitting the correct Motorcraft liquid hose keeps refrigerant delivery and metering to the evaporator within specification and restores full cooling. This is the Ford catalog liquid hose for the 2.7L Edge, an exact-fit replacement for the original line.
