  This is a genuine Ford Motorcraft front left suspension strut assembly for the 2015 through 2018 Ford Focus, including the Focus Electric. The strut integrates the hydraulic damper with the spring seat to control suspension travel, dampen road shock, support the driver-side front corner ride height, and keep the front tire in firm contact with the road for predictable steering and braking. It is engineered to the original factory damping and ride-height specifications for the Focus front suspension and installs as a direct replacement. Owners typically replace a front strut when they feel a bouncing or floaty ride, hear a clunk or rattle over bumps and rough pavement, notice the nose diving hard under braking, see cupped or uneven front tire wear, or find oil weeping from the strut housing.
