This genuine Ford transmission mount supports the transaxle end of the powertrain, cushioning the transmission against the subframe while absorbing torque reaction, driveline vibration, and road shock so they are not transmitted into the cabin. The mount combines a steel bracket with a bonded rubber isolator; when the rubber cracks, softens, or separates, the driver feels a clunk shifting between reverse and drive, a thud on acceleration or deceleration, increased idle vibration, and possible driveline movement under load. This mount fits 2015-2019 Ford Escape with the 1.5L, 2.0L, and 2.5L engines and is cataloged by Ford as the trans mount for that application. It is a direct replacement that bolts into the original location. Support the transmission before removing the old mount, then align the new mount and torque all fasteners to Ford specification so the powertrain sits at the correct height and the isolator is not preloaded. Replacing a collapsed mount restores smooth, quiet shifts and reduces vibration felt through the floor.
