  This genuine Ford connecting rod bearing 4C1Z-6211-B is the companion grade to 4C1Z-6211-A in the same bearing family, a precision insert that sits between a connecting rod big-end and its crankshaft journal and rides on a film of pressurized oil so the rod never contacts the journal directly inside the 3.2L Duratorq-TDCi Puma five-cylinder turbo diesel. It is the factory-specified rod bearing for 2015-2019 Ford Transit vans equipped with the 3.2L Power Stroke diesel and the 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission, offered in graded thicknesses so the correct running clearance can be set for each journal. Failing rod bearings announce themselves with deep engine knock that rises with rpm, dropping oil pressure, metallic particles in the oil, and possible rod failure if driven, the symptoms that lead a technician to a bearing replacement or full rebuild.
