This engine-driven pump pressurizes power steering fluid and delivers it to the steering gear so the driver gets hydraulic assist when turning, making low-speed maneuvering and parking of a heavy cargo or passenger van manageable. It supersedes the earlier CC1Z-3A674-B pump.
