This is the genuine Motorcraft internal automatic transmission filter and pan gasket kit for the 6R80 six-speed automatic used behind the 3.2L Power Stroke inline-five turbo diesel. The filter screen draws fluid from the transmission sump and feeds the front pump, protecting the valve body, solenoids, and clutch packs from metal debris, clutch material, and varnish that accumulate as the fluid ages. It fits 2015 through 2019 Ford Transit-150, Transit-250, and Transit-350 vans equipped with the 3.2L diesel engine. A clogged or restricted filter starves the pump and shows up as delayed or harsh engagement, slipping under load, shudder, whine, flared upshifts, elevated fluid temperature, or dark contaminated fluid. Ford catalogs this as Motorcraft FT-195, superseding service number CK4Z-7A098-A. Always replace the filter and pan gasket together whenever the transmission fluid is serviced, refill only with the Ford-specified Motorcraft transmission fluid, and set the level to the correct fill height using the temperature-based procedure. The pan gasket and filter are single-use and must not be reused once removed.
