  This is the engine air cleaner element for the 2015-2019 Ford Transit, cataloged by Ford under the Motorcraft designation FA-1916. The filter mounts inside the air cleaner box and traps dust, dirt, and debris from incoming air before it reaches the throttle body and combustion chambers, protecting the mass-air sensor, cylinders, and turbocharger from abrasive contamination.
