• Description:

  This Genuine Ford Motorcraft keyless entry keypad is the exterior SecuriCode door-mounted code pad used on 2015 through 2020 F-150 and 2017 through 2020 F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks, and shares the same design used broadly across the Ford lineup of these years. Mounted on the driver-side door pillar trim, the keypad lets an owner lock or unlock the vehicle by entering a factory or programmed entry code without a key or fob, a convenience that also allows keyless access when a fob is unavailable. The illuminated membrane buttons and internal circuit can wear or fail with weather exposure and repeated use; symptoms include buttons that no longer light, unresponsive or intermittent presses, water intrusion behind the pad, and a keypad that will not accept the entry code. This is the correct OEM replacement, Motorcraft KEP-1, and it installs into the factory opening with the existing wiring connector for a direct fit. After installation the master five-digit factory code, found in the owner documentation or read by a dealer, is used to program a personal code. Confirm the connector is fully seated and the pad is clipped flush to the trim. Fitting the genuine keypad restores reliable keypad locking and unlocking and eliminates the dead or erratic buttons of a worn-out unit.
