  This is the genuine Ford right hand cylinder head gasket for the 2015 through 2020 Shelby Mustang GT350 and GT350R with the 5.2L Voodoo flat plane crank V8. The multi layer steel gasket seals the joint between the right bank cylinder head and the engine block, containing combustion pressure while keeping coolant and oil passages isolated from each other and from the cylinders. Its armored fire rings are sized to the 5.2L bore to survive the high output and high rpm of this engine. A buyer shopping for this part is usually rebuilding a head, chasing a blown head gasket, or diagnosing coolant loss, overheating, white smoke from the exhaust, oil and coolant mixing, a rough misfire, or combustion gases found in the cooling system.
