This is the genuine Ford brake hydraulic line for the 2015-2021 F-150, a pre-formed rigid brake tube that carries pressurized brake fluid through the truck's hydraulic circuit between the master cylinder, ABS hydraulic control unit, and the wheel brakes. It is bent to the exact factory routing with the correct flare fittings so it seats and seals against corrosion and vibration along the frame. Owners replace this line when they find brake fluid leaks or wet spots along the tube, surface rust or pitting that threatens a failure, a spongy or sinking brake pedal, a dropping fluid reservoir level, or a brake warning light caused by lost hydraulic pressure. Because it is a sealed hydraulic component, the system must be bled to remove air after the line is installed, and the fittings should be tightened to Ford torque specification to prevent weeping.
