  This genuine Ford front seal, cataloged by Ford as Seal To Hood and also listed as a front seal or gasket, is the sealing strip that runs across the front of the engine compartment between the rear edge of the hood or the top of the radiator support and the surrounding body, closing the gap so air is directed through the radiator and cooling stack rather than leaking over the top.
