The FR3Z-10732-C is the genuine Ford battery tray for the 2015 through 2023 Mustang the molded tray that cradles and locates the battery in the engine compartment and provides the seat against which the hold down clamps the battery. It positions the battery securely isolates it from the body and helps manage drainage and clearance around the battery base. On the S550 generation Mustang a cracked warped or corroded tray can let the battery rock or sit unevenly which causes a loose battery vibration damage chafed cables and inconsistent electrical connections. This tray matches the factory footprint mounting points and retention features for a precise direct replacement and works with the battery support bracket and hold down to keep the battery firmly in place.
