  This is the genuine Ford Motorcraft engine air filter element for the 2015-2023 Mustang, fitting the 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder, the 3.7L V6 (2015-2017), and the 5.0L Coyote V8 GT. It does not fit the 5.2L Shelby GT350 and GT350R Voodoo engine, which uses a different high-airflow element. The panel filter traps dust, dirt, and airborne debris before intake air reaches the mass airflow sensor, throttle body, and combustion chambers, protecting the engine from abrasive wear while allowing full, unrestricted airflow for proper fuel metering and power. This part carries the Ford service number FR3Z-9601-A and the Motorcraft designation FA-1918.
