• Description:

  This Motorcraft lower radiator coolant hose carries cooled coolant from the bottom tank of the radiator back to the water pump inlet, completing the circulation loop that keeps engine temperature under control. It is the genuine Ford molded lower hose for 2015-2023 Mustang models equipped with the 5.0L V8 and the naturally aspirated 5.2L GT350 and GT350R engine, built for applications without a supercharger, and is pre-shaped with the correct bends and inside diameter to route cleanly and connect securely to the radiator outlet and pump. Owners replacing this hose are usually dealing with a coolant leak low in the engine bay, dripping coolant beneath the front of the car, a chronically low coolant level, overheating, or a lower hose that has become spongy, swollen, cracked, or collapsed under suction so that coolant flow is restricted at higher engine speeds. A weak or aged lower hose can also draw air into the cooling system and cause erratic temperature readings.
