  This Motorcraft valve grind gasket kit is the complete upper-engine gasket package used when servicing the cylinder head on Ford's 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder, the job commonly called a valve grind or head job. The kit bundles the cylinder head gasket together with the associated valve cover, intake and exhaust interface gaskets and seals needed to reseal the head and upper engine after the head has been removed for valve, gasket or turbocharger service. It fits 2.3L EcoBoost applications including the Ford Mustang, Ford Explorer and Lincoln MKC across roughly the 2015 through 2023 span. A technician reaches for this kit when facing a blown or weeping head gasket, coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant, white exhaust smoke, persistent overheating, external oil and coolant seepage at the head-to-block joint, or the need to reseal everything after pulling the head for valve or turbo work.
