This genuine Motorcraft HVAC blower motor is the cabin fan-and-motor assembly for the 2015-2023 Ford Mustang, drawing air through the heater core and evaporator and forcing it out the dash, floor, and windshield defrost vents at every fan speed. The unit includes the impeller wheel and installs in the blower housing beneath the passenger side of the dash. A failing blower motor typically announces itself with airflow that works only on the highest setting, fan operation that cuts in and out, a persistent squeal, hum, or grinding as the bushings wear, or a complete loss of airflow that leaves the windshield fogged and the cabin uncomfortable.
