• Description:

  This genuine Ford stabilizer bar bushing is the rubber insulator that wraps the anti-roll sway bar and holds it to the chassis through its mounting bracket, allowing the bar to rotate while locating it so it can transfer load between the left and right suspension during cornering. By keeping the stabilizer bar properly bushed, it reduces body roll and keeps handling flat and predictable on the 2015-2023 Mustang S550. Worn or cracked bushings are a common source of clunking, knocking or creaking noises from the suspension over bumps, speed humps and during quick steering inputs, along with a vaguer, looser feel in corners as the bar is allowed to move in its mount. This Ford insulator is molded to the correct inside diameter and durometer for the factory bar so the sway bar is held without bind or excess play. The bushings should be replaced in matched left and right pairs, and it is good practice to inspect the stabilizer bar links and mounting brackets at the same time. Fits the 2015-2023 Mustang S550 stabilizer bar application.
