  The Motorcraft KM-5308 is the lower radiator coolant hose for the 2015-2024 Ford F-150 built with the 5.0L V8 engine. The lower hose returns cooled coolant from the bottom of the radiator back to the engine's water pump inlet, completing the circulation loop that keeps the engine at its proper operating temperature. Although it runs slightly cooler than the upper hose, the lower hose still sees full system pressure and pump suction, so worn rubber can collapse under vacuum, crack at the ends, or soften and leak at the clamp connections.
