• Description:

  This Genuine Ford Motorcraft upper control arm (MCF-2564) is the front left, driver-side upper suspension arm with integrated upper ball joint for 2015 through 2024 Ford F-150, Expedition and Lincoln Navigator models in two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations, with a build-date distinction around 06/23/2015. The upper control arm positions the top of the steering knuckle, sets camber and caster geometry, and works with the lower arm to control wheel movement over bumps and during cornering. Worn upper ball joints or bushings typically cause clunking or popping over bumps, steering wander, uneven tire wear and vibration, and can trigger alignment problems. Because the ball joint is integral to this arm, the complete Motorcraft assembly restores proper geometry without pressing a separate joint, and the opposite side is often replaced together for balanced handling. New mounting bolts and nuts should be used where Ford specifies, as these fasteners are frequently single-use. This component is manufactured to Ford original-equipment specifications for correct fit, load capacity and durability on these full-size trucks and SUVs. A four-wheel alignment is required after installation. Supplied as a direct-fit OEM replacement matching the factory driver-side upper arm.
