  This is the genuine Ford intake manifold assembly for the 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbo V6, fitting F-150 pickups plus Expedition and Navigator models built with the 3.5L with turbo engine. The composite manifold routes pressurized charge air from the intercooler into the cylinder head intake ports and carries the throttle-body mounting flange, sensor bosses, and vacuum connections that support the direct-injection induction system. Ford supplies this service part including the intake manifold gaskets, so the gaskets needed to reseal the head are included in the box. Drivers usually reach for this part after a cracked or warped manifold, failed manifold gaskets, or a broken port or fitting produces a lean-condition or vacuum-leak code, rough idle, a hissing intake leak, reduced boost, or a check-engine light. It also replaces a manifold damaged during coil, injector, or turbo service. Installation calls for a clean sealing surface and proper staged tightening of the manifold fasteners to Ford specification to prevent leaks, using the new gaskets supplied rather than the originals.
