  This genuine Ford rear axle inner wheel seal fits the 2015 to 2025 Transit with single rear wheels and the 11.00 inch ring gear, and the F-250 and F-350 Super Duty with dual rear wheels using the 10.50 inch or 11.60 inch rear axle. The seal keeps axle lubricant contained at the inner wheel end and prevents contamination from entering, protecting the bearing and keeping lubricant off the brakes. A worn or damaged seal can allow gear oil to leak onto the brakes or let contaminants in, leading to bearing wear, so replacing it with the correct original equipment seal restores proper sealing. This part replaces 4C3Z-1S177-B, 4C3Z-1S177-C, and the BRS-191 and BRS-192 references, and although the prefix predates the listed model years, it is the current consolidated seal for these applications. It is included with the hub assembly. When installing, inspect the sealing surface for grooving, install the seal squarely to the correct depth, and refill the axle with the proper lubricant.
