The Motorcraft YF-37553 A/C refrigerant discharge hose is the genuine Ford high-side line that routes hot, high-pressure vapor from the compressor outlet to the condenser on 2016 through 2017 Ford Fiesta models with the 1.0L EcoBoost engine, built from 11/18/2015. The assembly combines a formed tube and a reinforced flexible hose section with captive fittings, shaped and clocked to the factory routing so it clears the belt drive and seals correctly at each joint. A discharge line that is chafed, cracked at a crimp, or leaking at a fitting causes weak or no cooling, refrigerant loss, an audible hiss under load, oily residue at the connection, or high-side pressure faults. Because the circuit must be opened to service this line, renew the connection O-rings, lubricate them with the correct refrigerant oil, evacuate the system, and recharge to the Ford specification afterward. Installing the correct Motorcraft discharge hose keeps high-side flow and pressure within specification and restores full cooling output. This is the Ford catalog discharge hose tube assembly for the Fiesta, an exact-fit replacement for the original line.
