This genuine Ford instrument panel molding is the driver side left hand trim bezel that finishes the outboard edge of the dashboard on the 2016-2019 Ford Explorer and 2019 Police Interceptor Utility covering the joint between the instrument panel and the A pillar or end cap for a clean factory look. Cataloged by Ford as an instrument panel molding or bezel it locates on molded pins along the dash end and seats flush to conceal wiring fasteners and panel seams. Drivers replace this molding when it is scratched sun faded cracked or has worked loose and started to rattle or show gaps or after steering column knee bolster or wiring service where the original clips snapped on removal. Because it is a genuine OEM component it matches the grain color and clip layout of the adjacent trim so it blends in unlike ill fitting universal panels. It installs by hand without tools.
