This genuine Ford instrument panel molding is the passenger side right hand trim bezel that finishes the outboard edge of the dashboard on the 2016-2019 Ford Explorer and 2019 Police Interceptor Utility covering the seam between the instrument panel and the A pillar or end cap for a finished factory appearance. Cataloged by Ford as an instrument panel molding or bezel it clips onto locating pins along the dash end and must sit flush to hide wiring fasteners and panel joints. Owners replace this molding when it is scratched faded cracked or has loosened and developed rattles or gaps or after airbag wiring or dash service required its removal and the original tabs broke. Because it is an exact OEM part it matches the grain color and clip pattern of the surrounding trim unlike universal pieces that fit poorly. It presses on by hand with no tools. This is the right hand piece and the left hand side uses a separate part number so confirm the side you need before ordering.
