  This genuine Ford engine oil pump pickup tube draws oil from the sump and feeds it to the oil pump, and it includes the integrated pickup screen that filters debris before oil enters the pumping circuit on the 2017 through 2018 F-150, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator equipped with the 3.3L or 3.5L engine. A restricted, cracked, or loose pickup tube starves the pump of oil, so owners replacing this part are usually responding to low oil pressure warnings, a lifter or timing-chain rattle at startup, or contamination found in the pan during service after a failure. The screen guards the pump and bearings from sludge and metal particles, which makes fresh installation important any time the oil pan is dropped for engine work.
