• Description:

  Genuine Ford exhaust gas differential pressure sensor for the diesel particulate filter on 17-19 F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty pickups with the 6.7L Power Stroke turbo diesel engine, specifically for trucks built with the 160 or 176 inch wheelbase from the mid-18 production cutover. The sensor supersedes DPFE33 and the earlier HC3Z-9J460-C revision and is the current Ford-stocked replacement covering the post-running-change variants. It measures the pressure differential across the DPF and provides the input the engine control module needs to schedule regeneration cycles correctly. When the sensor fails the symptoms include a DPF-related diagnostic code, regenerations that fire too frequently or never complete, and reduced fuel economy as the filter is held outside its loading window. Confirm production date and wheelbase before ordering since the earlier and later sensors are not interchangeable across the mid-18 cutover.
