Genuine Ford exhaust gas differential pressure sensor, the EGR or DPF pressure feedback unit, for 17-19 F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks with the 6.7L Power Stroke turbo diesel engine in chassis cab configurations. The sensor measures the pressure differential across the diesel particulate filter and reports the data to the engine control module so the regeneration cycle can be commanded at the correct interval and the filter can be monitored for loading. When the sensor drifts or fails the symptoms include a check engine light for DPF pressure, regeneration cycles that either never complete or fire too frequently, and reduced fuel economy as the filter is held outside its optimal loading window. The Ford-supplied sensor carries the correct connector pinout and calibrated pressure range for the 6.7L exhaust application. Replacement is straightforward once the sensor location is identified and the hoses are disconnected.
